VJ Day 80th Anniversary Events
2025 marks 80 years since the end of the Second World War. On 15 August 1945, following the surrender of Japan, Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day) was declared. Peace was finally restored after six years of global conflict. In 2025, we are hosting a series of commemorative events to honour the sacrifice of those who served and ensure that the lessons of the past are not forgotten.
