For severe and life-threatening emergencies
Accident and emergency (A&E) is for serious injuries and life-threatening emergencies.
These are things like heavy bleeding, choking and seizures.
For non life-threatening emergencies
If you need medical attention but it’s not a life-threatening situation, call 111 or get help from 111 online.

Community defibrilators are available, always call 999 first, but if one is in reach don’t be afraid to use it.

If you are in a situation where someone is bleeding severely ensure you always call 999 first and if near to one of our kits you can use it to stop the bleed until the ambulance arrives.
