Play Areas & Paddling Pools

The Town Council has eight main recreation grounds and 24 children’s play areas.Click Here

Many children’s play areas are equipped with basketball posts and there are free tennis courts at Eling Recreation Ground and Testwood Recreation Ground.

The play areas are provided with modern safety surfaces and adventurous equipment for various ages of children.

Paddling Pools

Please note:

Whilst they are locked, please
DO NOT CLIMB OVER FENCING OR GATES

or use sites as the water may not be treated
and you will not be supervised for safety.

Important Notice:

• DO NOT allow your children to run around any of the pool areas.
• Make sure your children wear some form of footwear and swimwear at all sites.
• Please acompany and supervise your young children on all visits to the pool sites as we cannot accept that responsibility.
• At the discretion of the Pool Operatives the pools can be closed at any time without prior warning through bad weather, staff shortage and vandalism etc. For more information please contact the council on 02380 863138.

Important Reminder:

• Alcohol is NOT permitted in the Council Pool areas. Anyone thought to be under the influence or in possession of alcohol will be asked to leave the pool area.
• Barbecues are not permitted by the pools, play areas or in the recreations grounds.
• The Council will NOT tolerate ANY abuse towards the Pool Staff, whether it be verbal, physical or sexual any persons doing so will be dealt with accordingly.
• Please be aware that the use of any photographic equipment is strictly forbidden in and around the pool sites.
