Climate and Nature Proposals

Totton and Eling Town Council is dedicated to addressing climate change and biodiversity loss through comprehensive action plans. The Climate Change Action Plan emphasizes energy efficiency, green transport, renewable energy, waste reduction, and community involvement. Concurrently, the Nature Change Action Plan focuses on nature recovery, wilding programmes, improving access to nature, and protecting biodiversity. Key initiatives include energy-efficient Council buildings, electric vehicle infrastructure, expanded Community Orchard, and wildlife-friendly projects in the Town Park. These plans are regularly updated, with bi-monthly meetings ensuring ongoing progress and community engagement.
