Upcoming overnight works in May 2026 |
Overnight traffic management associated with the planned works on the A32 Wickham Road.
These works are required to connect the new road layout to the existing layout at Broadway Roundabout, facilitate construction on the southbound lanes, and carry out drainage works on the M27 westbound off slip.
Works will take place overnight in May and will require temporary closures and traffic management between Knowle Roundabout and North Hill Roundabout, including the M27 Junction 10 eastbound on slip (towards Portsmouth) and westbound off slip (towards Wickham).
Confirmed dates
First set of overnight closures
8, 9 and 10 May – A32 full closure in both directions (unchanged)
Second set of overnight closures
14, 15, 16 and 17 May – A32 full closure in both directions (14 May added)
To ensure the works can be carried out safely, the following will be in place overnight between 8:00pm and 6:00am:
- A32 Wickham Road northbound (towards Wickham)
- A32 Wickham Road southbound (towards Fareham)
- M27 Junction 10 eastbound on slip (towards Portsmouth)
- M27 Junction 10 westbound off slip (towards Wickham)
