The Hampshire (A36 Salisbury Road, Hillstreet and Pauletts Lane, Totton) (30, 40 and 50 miles per hour speed limit) Order 2026
Hampshire County Council made the Traffic Regulation Order on Tuesday 13th October and will come into force on Saturday 24th October 2026.
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to:
- Reduce the existing 50 miles per hour speed limit to 40 miles per hour on A36 Salisbury Road between a point 163 metres south-east of its junction with Pauletts Lane and a point 414 metres north-west thereof.
- Reduce the existing speed limit on A36 Salisbury Road between a point 190 metres east of its junction with the A326 southbound slip road and its junction with Brooks Hill Industrial estate, an approximate distance of 125 metres from unrestricted (National Speed Limit) to 40 miles per hour
