Road/junction closures & temporary traffic lights – Rose Road and side roads
From the 05 January to approximately 13 March , SGN specialist contractors will be working on Rose Road and side roads in Totton. These works are essential to ensure we can avoid further gas escapes in the future and continue to maintain a safe and efficient gas supply to the area.
Due to the location of the gas pipe in the road, and for everyone’s safety we will need varying traffic management in place during our programme of works, The following outlines dates where traffic management will be in place. These dates are for guidance and may change as they are dependent on progress.
The junction closures will mean:
- No through vehicle access in or out of the closed junctions – short diversion routes will be in place
- Resident vehicle access will be maintained via the diverted route
- Bus routes may be affected – we’d advise passengers to contact their service provider for latest updates
- Bin collection days will remain unchanged unless you hear otherwise from your service provider
Properties directly affected by these works will receive further communications.
